Thank you for being involved with the Warriors. Thank you to our sponsors and thank you to the parents, the players and the staff. It is realized that we all are making sacrifices to be on the team. Hotels aren’t free, gas is definitely not free and we could all be spending our hard-earned money elsewhere. The joy we will get from watching our players develop, creating new friendships and cheering on the Warriors will be worth it, I am sure. So, thank you for contributing to the success of the team. A Spring Hockey Team is about a number of things. Development, falling in love with the game again after a tough regular season, meeting new friends, having fun and putting yourself in front of the right people in the right situations to be seen and recognized for your talent.
The SWO Warriors HC is all about all of these things. We have on our staff proven coaches who have played the game at OHL, European Leagues and University levels. We have skills development from coaches who have developed some of the most elite hockey players in the area. Our players have fun, strive to be competitive and work hard to achieve their goals. Life isn’t all about Hockey but Hockey is about Life. If you work hard, commit to getting better, support and work with your teammates, treat the game and those around you with respect and then take these qualities into the rest of your life, success will be yours on all levels.
We register for tournaments that give our players the maximum opportunity for a challenging Spring Season that will give them the exposure necessary to move to the next level. Along the way we will engage in team building, character building and love of the game building. Join the Warriors to maximize how much Hockey can add to your life.
Some days, most days even, the best part of your day is going to the rink. You look for more challenges within hockey. You want to grow and develop. There is that chance you can climb the hockey ladder but most of all you want to learn more, develop more, achieve more. Hockey is Fun for you although some times not as fun as it should be.
The SWO Warriors HC was created to help players just like you fall back in love with hockey, benefit from a different voice on the ice than your regular season coach, engage and play with other players from other associations and regions and put the right tools in your hands to help you achieve your hockey goals. You are a hard worker, you practice and develop your skills so you can be great team player. You enjoy getting better and set goals for yourself so you can measure your success. You are coachable and have a hunger to learn more.
